Candela ultra sensitive DAB chromogen kit consists of 5 ml (40x) of Candela DAB chromogen and 2x 100 ml of Candela reaction buffer; both components are stable for at least 12 months when kept at 4-8C. Once combined, the reagent must be used within 4 hours.

For IHC and IHC-P:
1. Into 1 ml of the Candela reaction buffer add 25 ul of the Candela DAB chromogen. Protect from the light and bring it to room temperature (about 20 minutes in advance). Mix well and use it within 4 hours.
2. When you are ready for the detection, apply the DAB mix on top of the tissue and wait for 5 minutes. The colour will develope immediately.
3. Stop the reaction by dipping the slides in the water.

For WB further dilute the chromogen: into 1 ml of Candela reaction buffer add 10 ul of the Candela DAB chromogen. Protect from the light and bring it to room temperature (about 20 minutes in advance). Mix well and use it within 4 hours.
