A synthetic peptide from mouse VAMP4 conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen.

FUNCTION: Involved in the pathway that functions to remove an inhibitor (probably synaptotagmin-4) of calcium-triggered exocytosis during the maturation of secretory granules. May be a marker for this sorting pathway that is critical for remodeling the secretory response of granule.
Subcellular location: Golgi apparatus âº trans-Golgi network membrane; Single-pass type IV membrane protein; associated with trans Golgi network (TGN) and newly formed immature secretory granules (ISG). Not found on the mature secretory organelles.
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.

Reconstitute in 100 µl of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
