A synthetic peptide from the n-terminal (cytoplasmic) domain of mouse NEDD4 WW domain binding protein 5 (Ndfip1, NFIP1) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen. The antigen shares 96% identity with human and rat Ndfip1.

Target

FUNCTION: May play a role in Golgi structure maintenance.
SUBUNIT: Interacts with NEDD4. Interacts in vitro with NEDD4L, SR140, WWP2 and ITCH.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Golgi apparatus membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Widely expressed.

Storage

Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
