A synthetic peptide from aa region 200-250 of mouse vomeronasal type-1 receptors B2 and B4 conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen.

SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Expressed in a subset of sensory neurons located in the apical layer of the vomeronasal organ.
MISCELLANEOUS: Mice lacking V1RB2 show a disrupted pattern of axonal projections to the accessory olfactory bulb.
MISCELLANEOUS: Mice lacking all but one V1RA and V1RB gene (12% of the V1R repertoire) show a lack of chemosensory response to a subset of known pheromonal ligands and changes in maternal aggression as well as male reproductive behavior.
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
