Target
Function: Involved in transcriptional regulation. Specifically recognizes and binds methylated 'Lys-9' of histone H3 (H3K9me) and promotes DNA methylation by recruiting DNMT3A to target CpG sites; these can be situated within the coding region of the gene. Mediates down-regulation of CDH1 expression.

Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
