Target

FUNCTION: Required for the biogenesis of eye pigment granules. Plays a role in vesicle-mediated protein trafficking to lysosomal compartments and in membrane docking/fusion reactions of late endosomes/lysosomes.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Late endosome membrane; Peripheral membrane protein; Cytoplasmic side. Lysosome membrane; Peripheral membrane protein; Cytoplasmic side. Note: Cytoplasmic, peripheral membrane protein associated with late endosomes/lysosomes.
TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Expressed both maternally and zygotically in all stages of development. Highest expression is in third larval instar.

Storage

Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
