Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from the c-terminal of mouse TRPC7 conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen. The antigen shares a significant identity with TRPPC3 and TRPC6 of mouse, rat and human origins.
Accession
Also known
Short transient receptor potential channel 7, transient receptor potential cation channel, subfamily C, member 7, TrpC7, Transient receptor protein 7, Mtrp7, Receptor-activated cation channel TRP7
Target
FUNCTION: Thought to form a receptor-activated non-selective calcium permeant cation channel. Probably is operated by a phosphatidylinositol second messenger system activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G-protein coupled receptors. Activated by diacylglycerol (DAG). May also be activated by intracellular calcium store depletion.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
